Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)
“Normal” doesn’t always mean optimal. Most standard lab ranges for testosterone are outdated and generalized across all age groups, meaning you could technically be “in range” but still experiencing symptoms like fatigue, low libido, brain fog, and decreased muscle strength. At Remedy Me IV Therapy & Wellness, we focus on your optimal levels and not just what’s considered “normal”. By assessing your symptoms, lifestyle, and lab results together to find your ideal hormonal balance. This is typically done with Injections either 1 or 2 times a week.
Here’s how it works 👇
Step 1️⃣ — Lab Appointment
Book your lab draw right here in our office to check your hormone levels and other required labs. If you have recent labs from your provider you may submit those for review. Though must have all labs required by Remedy Me IV for our program.
Step 2️⃣ — Medical Consultation
After your results are in, you’ll meet virtually or in-person with one of our highly trained medical professionals (Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor) to review your labs and medical history to ensure safe and appropriate treatment.
Step 3️⃣ — Ongoing Support
Once treatment begins, you’ll have monthly follow-ups to monitor your progress and labs to keep your therapy optimized and results steady.

What are the benefits of Testosterone Replacement Therapy?
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) offers significant benefits for individuals with clinically diagnosed low testosterone levels (hypogonadism). Here are some of the key benefits of TRT:
-
Increased Muscle Mass and Strength: TRT can enhance muscle protein synthesis, leading to gains in muscle mass and strength, particularly when combined with resistance training.
-
Improved Bone Density: Testosterone plays a crucial role in maintaining bone mineral density. TRT can help prevent osteoporosis and reduce the risk of fractures.
-
Enhanced Libido and Sexual Function: Testosterone is vital for sexual health, including libido, erectile function, and overall sexual satisfaction. TRT can restore these functions in men with low testosterone levels.
-
Mood and Cognitive Function: Low testosterone levels are associated with irritability, fatigue, and cognitive decline. TRT may improve mood, energy levels, and cognitive function in some individuals.
-
Cardiovascular Health: There is evidence suggesting that TRT may have a positive impact on cardiovascular health, including improved lipid profiles and reduced risk of heart disease in some cases.
Improved Quality of Life: Many men report an overall improvement in their sense of well-being, energy levels, and vitality with TRT.
Who is NOT eligible for Testosterone Replacement Therapy?
At this time we are treating biological males with clinical proof of low testosterone levels. While we certainly advocate for biological females obtaining testosterone for certain conditions and fully support gender-affirming hormone therapy, we currently do not have the highly trained and specialized staff to do that at this time. If you are a biological female looking for safe testosterone treatment, or a patient seeking gender-affirming hormone therapy, please call us and we can share the clinics we’d recommend. Finally, men with the following conditions are not currently eligible for TRT as the safety risks may outweigh the benefits:
-
Men planning on fathering children in the future: While TRT is possible to perform in those hoping to father children in the future, it takes specialized testing and providers to monitor the risks for this.
-
Prostate Cancer: Active or suspected prostate cancer is a contraindication, as TRT could stimulate cancer growth.
-
Breast Cancer: Men with active breast cancer should avoid TRT due to the potential exacerbation of the disease.
-
Severe Untreated Sleep Apnea: TRT may worsen sleep apnea, a condition characterized by blocked breathing during sleep.
-
Uncontrolled Heart Disease: Individuals with severe heart conditions, such as uncontrolled hypertension or congestive heart failure, might be at increased risk for cardiovascular events with TRT.
-
Liver Disease: Severe liver disease or liver dysfunction can interfere with the metabolism and effects of testosterone.
-
Severe Renal (Kidney) Disease: Advanced kidney disease may affect the safety and effectiveness of TRT.
-
Polycythemia: Elevated red blood cell count can be worsened by TRT, increasing the risk of blood clots and other complications.
-
Prior History of Blood Clots: A history of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE) could be exacerbated by TRT.
-
Mental Health Issues: Severe psychiatric conditions or unstable mental health issues may require careful consideration and monitoring.
