Semaglutide & Tirzepatide are an injectable medications that was approved by the FDA in 2021 for weight loss management in adults when used in combination with a healthy diet and exercise. Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that demonstrates improved control of food cravings, reduced appetite, reduced HbA1C, and insulin resistance.
